There is good and bad cricket coaching. There are orthodoxes and heresies and they change round over time. There are visionary coaches and reactionery ones. There are overcoached cricketers and undercoached ones.
In the test countries there is a formal examination and certification process for coaches and professional associations to join and the same has been introduced by ICC's Regional Development councils. There are today many cricket coaching aids, manuals, videos and more.. In our links section we list many of these and will steadily add more.
For details of coaching courses and cricket coaching you will make a good start by contacting your local cricket board-county, province, region and country. ICC's agencies like the European Cricket Council also run coaching courses for those in developing cricket countries.
